Alan, RBH, thank you both. The education to be had here has steered me in the right direction, and I can't thank the two of you and the rest of the Loungers enough.

Alan that lid is THE lid. Very nice!

David I always enjoy seeing that Stetson. It was between my Open Road and BG Campdraft today. I felt like green. A little St. Patti's day left over I guess.

Hope everyone has a great TAR Tuesday!

By the way Al, thanks for sharing your pics with us. I always feel like I just had a little vacation everytime you post! You live in a beautiful area.

Gallic Storm

St. Patty's sunny disposition gave way to Winter Storm Ukko yesterday and blizzard advisories/warnings in Minnesota. I had taken the day off to scout and secure period locations with Lydia for Ryan's film sequel, accompanied by two of my Gallic beauties.

I seemed to have consistently reached for my '30s A.France/BODIN 'Haute Luxe' Velour this Winter when the snowflakes were flying.

My new favorite Melone, recently arrived from Marmoutier, France, courtesy of recurrent lucky karma. Photographed on St. Patrick's Day.

What a difference a day makes. I switched to the CONTY in the afternoon yesterday as the winds became increasingly ferocious and visibility diminished from the blowing snow.

Thanks, Roger, I appreciate your kind words, very much. Minnesota is indeed beautiful, but as I have said many times before, beauty is all around every one of us. Excellent choice today, you cut a dapper silhouette with that lid.

Snow-thrower duty this morning in my beater, a Stetson "Packard," circa 2010. I still enjoy the excitement of this activity. I'm supposed to be weary of it at my age. Should get there soon...
