Thanks g.durand...The Resistol is definitely a nice hat and the guy who modified it did a fantastic job with it...it's flawless inside and out...I hate that it doesn't fit!...I put some foam padding behind the sweat and it seems to work out okay that way, just makes it a tad uncomfortable for me though...I love your Akubra Fed IV!!! That's a good looking hat!! The Optimo looks really good on you!!!

Alan.....and it looks to be high in fiber, too!

T Jones Thanks for the compliments. The Akubra does have some nice lines, and it is getting softer and more pliable as I bash it around.

Speaking of bashing around, I went out this afternoon to shoot some B&W film with my old Canon. I still don't have a good digital camera. I'm wearing one of my modern Whippets. I think my wife looks better in it.

Had to try on my dad's orange '50s Panhandle Slim suit I saw yesterday in the living room closet. Fits ok. My arms are extra long so nothing fits anyway.

Sharing a pic from Sunday evening at a local cofee shop. I played some fingerstyle blues and a friend snapped a shot in-between songs.

VS dark moss fedora went with me for the trip thru 1915-40's blues.

Best, Eric -

g-durand and blazerbud, thanks for the kind words. It is much appreciated.

g-durand, both hats are great in the first photos. Killer Optimo.
The Whippet looks also sharp on you. You know that, that women looks much better in hats. haha

blazerbud, thanks, the jacket is a cotton waxed camel active outdoor jacket in a dark brown color.
Looks a bit like a leather jacket the fabric.

Excellent lids, all.

Eric, it is especially nice to see you hatted with your guitar and a smile cracking on your face!

Sam, that VS Max is one of my all time favorite hats. It would never work on my head, but you wear it great.

David, nice to see the VS moss on yer noggin'.

Perry, great hat today and yesterday's was superb!

Speaking of superbe... Manfred, your recent acquisition is a real treat!

I couldn't not wear the Baron bowler over the weekend. To and from several classical concerts, each with a bit o' Irish flair.

Al, my friend, long has it been, nice that you here, your compliment goes down like oil! haha

Manfred, my friend, it is nice to be back. The past month was a blur of frenzied activity with photography and video work for Ryan's school musical as well as ongoing production of Ryan and his friends' film sequel. I have thousands of still photos and hours of film to work on, but am enjoying every second of it. Just wish I had more than 86,400 of them every day.

Aye, that be a fine topper, me lad!

Your clothes and hat choice are very well. That is a darn sharp combination with that Baron bowler.
