My wife just got this little beauty in today .

There was only one other bidder ,and she beat that person out of it for peanuts.

I am wondering about this hat because the sweat reads "twenty five " ,now is that the "style name " like open road ,
stratoliner etc, etc, or does it mean that it's 25 X beaver pelt ?

You should feel this hat it's very luxurious to the touch and its in great shape and she stole it for the money.

It means that its retail price was $25... and she looks swell in it.

EggHead - I suppose there are worse spots for one's lunch break. I love SFO, one of the great cities!

Frank - I don't know why it is (well, actually, yes I do), but the ladies in our lives always look way better in hats than us geezers ever will.

Thank you for nice comments guys!

DJH - Loved your noir shot in the alley, goes well with the cap. BTW, if you don't mind me asking - what camera/lens did you use for that wonderful shot?

Lookin' good gents,.. and lady!

Michaelshane inspired/reminded me with his 7X the other day. Had to brush off my Stetson and take it for a spin.

Here's a series of shots that highlight the style I wear but also show the amazing, nearly clay-like, ability of vintage 7X felt to take a dry crease. Mold it any way you want and it just says, "Fine with me", and then STAYS there. Tremendous.

Rogera, David and Jeff, thank you very much Gentlemen for the kind words about the cap.
This "flat" style is also new for me but I have so much Caps in different shapes that get not enough head time! But I do my best to get every Hat or Cap on my noggin!

Sam, a Killer your Max hat, fantastic bow work!

Rogera, that conversion is fantastic, you look great with him!

Alan, you let the oldies shine! A impressive Nutria Stetson!

Egghead, fantastic photos from a wonderful trip to SF! Thanks for it!

Jeff, that hat is awesome. The wide brim very impressive! You rock that Western style!

David, a good looking Cap from Black sheep! I did not know that they have Caps too!

Frank, your wife looks beautiful with this hat! Congrats to that, steel!

Justin, lol. Good job on that gif animation! Congrats to the Overcoat!

AnA, both hats looks great! I love your flat brim style with tall crowns!

Gene, impressive, how easy it look to shape this hat in dfferent styles. Great job done!
You look fantastic with him!

Thanks for the compliments, my humble wool fedora is quite proud for having been in Egypt (unlike Mr. Ford's, duh!) :D

Not a hat, but please allow me to show another type of headgear that I wore for a while:
