Well, it's TAR Tuesday and the forecast is for rain.

Sounds like a pretty good day for a Campdraft.

Glorious 40'F this morning in Minnesota, USA. I have been out this morning enjoying the Fall with our dogs. I have been wearing my Adam green fedora. It is a "Royal" quality. It was a lower level quality in the Adam Hat line. The Stratoliner clone is mint and clean with firm felt. Awesome hat to wear this morning.

I did take it off to throw practice dummies into the water for the dogs. I am not anxious to have the hat go swimming.

Hey that looks like juniper berries behind you. It makes me want something with Gin in it. And the hat looks good too.

Thunder - Yes you are correct sir - Juniper berries! I have tried to make Gin before. Man it was some powerfull and bitter stuff. I learned to let the Pro's do it. My taste buds appreciate good Gin. Juniper berries in my wifes potpourri makes a great smelling house.

Thanks for yesterday's comments, fellas. That jacket was my dad's but he hasn't worn it in 20-30 years so I kind of nabbed it. I need to get some seams restitched, however. The darn thing used to have a zip-in lining, but that's long gone.

some really nice hats today! David, man if you're getting tired of those Tumwaters, you know who to call! :p

Che-- formidable!
RLK-- something about that photo gives you a childlike look of hope in your eyes or something-- really nice!
Eric-- the epitome of class, as always.
Perry-- so professional it's frightening!
Sam-- that's a great look too! Stay dry. Did you end up selling that black beaver 15? I almost pulled the trigger (the flange got my attention) but I just had to resist this time around.
I'm going with my knew-to-me Knox vented brown derby today.

Today I'm wearing a hat by an unknown maker. It dates to somewhere in the 20's/early 30's. The felt is incredibly light and thin and will hold a shape wonderfully. I have never steamed a crease into this hat. Every time I wear the hat, I crease it, then pop it back out when it goes back into the hat box.

Wearing my Akubra Stylemaster due to the rain. The straws just do not do well in the rain. Looking forward to some cooler weather so I can break out my other felts.
