JLee I love that hat I remember when you got it I just thought it was great, well done... Chief.

This was actually Saturday's hat, but I had a busy weekend and didn't get around to posting it until now:

Black Sheep hat works custom, hand dyed Oxblood. First post with my new cellphone; which means new camera as well.

Thanks for the ArtLite comments for this morning guys - this was another great day for cool hats all around.

I especially like Jared's BlackSheep, the Borsalinos of Javier and Steve and Manfred's take on the Dualist concept.

Dan you look great in that Homburg - I see the beard has gone so the mustache gets all the attention!

Great stuff!

VS Executive in Bluesmoke this evening.

I got home with time this evening to spend some time with our dogs (Tris and Tio). We walked and enjoyed the 70'F temp of the early evening. I broke open my new VS Executive for a maiden voyage dog walk. Everything I have come to know about a VS hat is in this hat. I barely got into the walk and started collecting comments from familiar folks.

The hat genesis I have described in post # 6330 ( http://www.thefedoralounge.com/showthread.php?13023-Art-Fawcett-Hall-of-Fame/page633 ).

More pics here; http://www.thefedoralounge.com/showthread.php?13023-Art-Fawcett-Hall-of-Fame/page641

Enjoy the evening. Eric -

I am so pleased that you enjoy it sir! The Blue Spruce background I chose to coordinate with the blue smoke colored felt. The green spruce is also included to give some color depth.

The Blue Spruce is a "perfect background" for the color, although it may prove to be tough as I will have to sprint from spruce to spruce. I better start wearing running shoes for all of my errands/chores and walks. ;)

Thanks for the comments Chief.

Hm... I might have found my crown to try that project, Manfred. But I will still have to find the right brim! I might have to copy you if I get the chance! ;)

I went with my Dobbs milan today:

Jared-- I've always liked that hand-dyed oxblood of yours-- nice to see it again!
DanielJones-- sweet homburg!
Eric--I don't think I've commented yet on that VS exec. It's really spectacular; you have quite the collection of executive hats, you should be the CEO around here!

Bite your tongue...It looks great and it looks great on you aswell...Give it a minute to get used to the changes...cause it is one fine looking piece...

Thanks Bird! That does give me a little more confidence to place this in the "wear it more often" rotation, or at least in my fedora Omnibook!
