We've decided to take a trip to Buenos Aires, as it's been many years since I've been here and my wife has never been.

I'm sitting in the Plaza de Mayo, infront of La Casa Rosada. La Casa Rosada in the executive mansion, even though the President of Argentina normally lives elsewhere.

I've forgotten how much I enjoy Buenos Aires, a beautiful and vibrant city.

The following are just some photos of some of the architecture.

After an unusually long journey (I already thought it had gone missing somewhere over the Atlantic) my vintage Gramercy linen newsboy finally arrived.

It'd better be summer soon! :D

Great photos, Jeff. We were at Portland light about 2 years ago when we visited a friend up there. Very nice town.

Thanks for the B. A. photos BR. Unfortunately, our photos taken there were lost when my wife's camera was stolen. Did you do some Tango while there?

There were two auctions that I was interested in today.

I thought for SURE $120 bid would be enough for this 7 7/8 952 block....but NOPE....lost that one. Its a shame too. Those 52/952 blocks almost never come up in huge sizes like that. Kind of upset about it.

Block Size 7 7/8 952

But then I won this beautiful Milan and it put me in a good mood again..

Its was originally sold at the Pantke-Harpke Co store and every other Milan or Panama straw that I've seen from that store has been excellent quality, so I'm hoping this one is no different. I'm not really a fan of telescope crowns, so if the crown is as tall open as I think it is, I will be re-blocking it with one of my 52 blocks.

It seems you put this post in the wrong thread ... ;)

Mike, Manfred, John, Jeff - thanks for the Stratoliner comments. This is a hat I always enjoy wearing.

Mike - super Borso this morning (wow, seems a long time ago now!)

John - great lightweight Borsalino. I've been working on my lightweight lineup this winter as well, looking forward to the warmer weather.

Jeff - love the shots of the OR today.

Ray - nice western and pheasants and stuff =)

Eric - two great hats today, sir!

Michaelshane - I love your C7K, stunning hat!

Robert - cool Lee today

Alan - the Borsalino looks good today

Bill - you must have the best Adam collection of anyone!

Mario - cool photo and nice cap!

Oh, this evening I'm wearing this Dobb's Cross Country that arrived today from one of our friends at the Lounge
