Thanks for the comments Hat, Zewel and Redwood.

Redwood, I have to agree that the green used in the 30-50's Stetson line, certainly for the Stratoliners, is special. It works will all of the stuff like to wear. A warmer olive green to my eye. I try to take pics with items that reference the hat color, like the evergreens in the backgrounds. For me it provides a good idea of the color. Perhaps I should invest in a Pantone Color chart to get it very accurate - on second thought, nah, to much detail.

Enjoying shades of green on a Valentines Day, Eric -

Thanks guys, Manfred and Jeff got it right, it's the awesome 50s Borsalino Trionfo handed to me by one of the interns in my dept. New ribbon though as the old one was disintegrating. I made a cool park avenue bow.
Jbucklin they do look similar, is yours a Borsalino as well?

Looks great! The one that blew away was a Trionfo too, right?

I'm an Earth Tone guy myself with a plethora of Khaki's, Greys, some whites and olive greens. On days when I can't make up my mind, I wear camo....heh[huh]

New hat for the afternoon. Back at the gym. We have a big meet in Milwaukee, WI, this following our hosting a big meet this past weekend. Lots of gym set-up still, meet paper work, coaches notes and planning. I am whooped.

Back at the gym in my VS Dove. The felt color dove is very versatile. It can show the gray, lavender, blues and even a muted red like the doves in my backyard. Eric -
