David that Pesca is perfect! You folks and your borsalinos are tormenting me awful!(must end all suffering by ending my own and getting one :D?)

Thanks - yep, you need to get one sooner or later.
Problem is, there are so many great Borsalino styles, one will never do it!

Marc - you are the top man when it comes to those old caps.

Thank you for the notes, folks! That Amish hat really is a helmet. I might try the more conforming variation-- Stetson's Austral-- when I have to shovel again (likely tomorrow). I seriously cannot keep up with this thread! So many amazing hats, everyone.

just to comment on a few:
Manfred-- what an awesome velour!
Alan-- I missed your velour yesterday-- beautiful!

Again, snow on a dark hat ... very cool.

Isn't this the hat that was bleeding dye? How did that work out? The wet snow isn't an issue?

Yes! The same hat. Previously it bled under spray bottle and steam conditions, but I didn't manhandle it so much today, so no bleeding noted.

And Alan-- In addition to hat lore, I learn so much new vocabulary on this website! {Amish and hamisch} Cool yet lively photo of you in that Colombo.

Thank you Jimmy and to all for the comments and photos. It's a pleasure when a thread is too hot to handle all the action! This one is really cooking.

Al, David , Jeff and Dirk, thank you so much for the nice comment. The fur is really difficult to photograph, it shimmers always different.

Brent, that is a very nice shorter brim Hat. I like him much. Looks very good

Alan, what an outstanding Colombo, the felt finish, looks awesome.

JB, very beautiful Alessandria. Excellent.

Steve, once again, great Borsalino.

Marc, your British Fedora is an eye catcher, is very rare. You wear it well and fits you perfect.

Zet looks perfect.
