What Hat Are You Wearing Today 1?

A new Ebay purchase. A handpainted Resistol 4X beaver from Slim's Western Wear in Broken Bow, Nebraska. Can't seem to find any information on the store, or on "Hats West", which is who did the artwork.

I really like it, though there are a few holes in the top from mothing.

How do they keep the paint from chipping when the felt flexes?

Perhaps it would be a hat of limited applications, but it is surely one of a kind!

Thanks! I was wondering the same thing, but it seems like flexing was kept at a minimum. For one, the amount and severity of mothing tells me this hat wasn't worn that much. I definitely won't be risking it in a rainstorm lol.

Neo - the painted hat is very cool. I don't think I could pull off wearing it, but it looks good on you. Congrats on such a unique find!

Thanks DJH . If I ever tire of wearing it, or if I find it too uncomfortable to wear in public, it could at the very least function as an art piece lol.
