Had a great Passover visit with my Dad. He lives a few hundred yards from the beach:

My mom would have been 85 on April 19th.

Visiting Calverton National Cemetery.

Found a little sun on the ride back home over the vineyards at Seneca Lake.

But the sunlight was swallowed up near home... the NYS Thruway approaching Buffalo:

I'm in need of a good straw....I have a large one I bought in Hawaii two years ago, but need something that doesn't cast a 5 foot shadow....I frequent PB pretty regularly. I already have one hat from them I wear all the time (Indy), two on the way (grey, black), and one in the closet waiting for a reblock (bone)....What model are you wearing?

You know, I don't know the answer to that. I bought this one used from fellow lounger, Not-Bogart13, and try as I might, I cannot find any identifiers anywhere on the hat. Sorry I can't be of more help, but I love this hat.

Today I started with my Belmoral while playing Pipes at 6AM for Sunrise Service. then I moved to my Skimmer for the rest of the day. Finally some nice weather up here.

On good Friday I climbed Mt Hay. Its a spectacular place.

The hat is an Akubra Squatter in Willow Green. My favourite adventuring hat.

Unfortunately, no picture, and I'm no longer dressed, but I wore my Stetson Open Road this morning out to an early, outdoor sunrise church service, and to breakfast afterward with my family and grandmother. Had a grand old time today. My dad says that my Open Road happens to remind him of one of our uncles too; a college professor from Kansas.
