Jimmy, I don't believe you own any bad hats. They are all great!
Ernest

Totally agreed. The words, "Bad Hats" dont even dare come up when I talk about your collection. You have some AMAZING hats Jimmy, and that Stetson is no exception. Just awesome. :eusa_clap:eusa_clap

As for me, I assembled a classic enough combo, polka dot bowtie and all, which I topped with a "custom made" midnight blue homburg, by Taylor Hat Mnfg, Cleveland.

Great combo Torpedo. That Homburg goes PERFECT with that outfit.:eusa_clap:eusa_clap

Torpedo, The midnight blue Taylor custom Homburg is fantastic! Overall fantastic combo as usual!

Hatophile, Super Resistol! The finish looks great!

Billy, Thanks! It is my only dark blue one. By the way another super Adam! I would like to see a thread of your entire Adam collection.

JTL, Fantastic Stetson Royal Deluxe! The ribbon/bow is WOW!

RBH, Only 60 here in MD but not complaining. Great VS Milan!

This evening -> 1930s Hückel Surperior

Very nice, Mayser, like the color and shape of that Huckel. That dark blue is cool, Joshbru.

Thanks! This hat is very interesting. It definitely was made not to take side dents. The felt is very dense and some what stiff. If you try to apply side dents (even with steam) they will eventually pop back. This is probably one of the finest made hats in my collection.

Friday arrives and this Stetson WeekEnder just feels right. I don't know why that should be the case. Perhaps the moniker plays on my subconscious. Or maybe the uncredited 40s era psychic that named this hat really did know what she was doing! Of course, skeptics may point out that she appears to be off by a full day. I say that weekend is a state of mind ... ;)

I agree, totally, Zetwal, gorgeous hat and I can see the weekend starting with that one. A little Margaritaville on the head?

Jimmy, I don't believe you own any bad hats. They are all great! That particular shape of the brim is growing on me. With the sides flat and front and back kinda folding downward.
Ernest

Thanks very much for the kind words, guys. Much appreciated. :)

Big_e -- With regard to shaping of the brim, I prefer only a very slight curl at the back. As you note, that gives a kind of downward feel to the back of the brim, although the upward curl is still there. The amount of brim curl toward the back of a fedora, in my view, makes a real difference in how a lid looks on one's noggin. Obviously, there are different tastes in this regard, but folks should remember that this is an aspect of the lid that can be molded to taste.

Cheers,
JtL
