Billy, Thanks! It is my only dark blue one. By the way another super Adam! I would like to see a thread of your entire Adam collection.

JTL, Fantastic Stetson Royal Deluxe! The ribbon/bow is WOW!

RBH, Only 60 here in MD but not complaining. Great VS Milan!

1930's Stevens Dark Blue Fedora

Today Im wearing my 1930's Stevens Dark Blue Fedora. I just redid the crown. I was inspired by my Adam Executive and decided to redo this crown with a center dent and wide front pinches. I felt this style fits the 30's style better than a c-crown. There must be a good amount of beaver in this mix because not only is the felt extremely soft and smooth, the feel is so much different than every other hat that I own. The only hat that had comparable felt was the 1920's stetson that I just sold. The picture that best shows the color is last one. The hat is a very very dark blue.

Thanks Monbla!

...The problem is, like Yeps my eyes are a lot more sensitive to sunlight now that I've been wearing hats. It honestly sucks to be outside without my lid, which is both cool and pathetic at the same time lol.

I like the western style. Somehow it doesn't attract nearly as much negative attention that my Campdraft does. Oddly, I still get lots of Indy comments [huh]. Also, the combination of the tapered crown and wider sweatband make it without a doubt the most comfortable hat I own.

Neo, the hat looks good on you. I have sensitive eye's also. The hat works. My doctor told me not to go outside without a hat, due to some dark spots that he thought might have been cancer. It wasn't, but it's a good reason to were a hat, Even better now I have a good excuse to buy hats.

There is no end to great hats there. To name but a few...

Jimmy, you have another winner there. As everybody has said, the green ribbon is the crowning detail. Must try that some day.
Rusty, top milan. Ribbon is jazzy, too!
MWegener, another classy hat!
Joshbru, nice job. Eye-catching ribbon, too.

As for me, I assembled a classic enough combo, polka dot bowtie and all, which I topped with a "custom made" midnight blue homburg, by Taylor Hat Mnfg, Cleveland.

Nice lids, Green Gene and Torp.

Joshbru -- really interesting Stevens. Great color.

mayserwegener -- nice duo of lids yesterday. The Huckel Superior is a beaut.

Hats off to the "Pecan Squad" -- Hatophile and gtdean, those are a couple of nice-lookin' lids!

Cheers,
