Just a bunch of endless searching and good luck. The larger sizes ( >= 7 3/8 59cm) are much more difficult to find. For example this 1930s Borsalino is a size 6 Punti (59cm or 7 3/8) so a rare find.

Today at the zoo with the niece. This time, it's the zoo in Akron.

As usual, if there's a 3 year old around, I'm in my beater.

The jellyfish exhibit is a favorite for me.

I'm jealous of the way my wife swaps out the scarves on her panama.

I like the jellies, my niece just likes sticking her head in the fountains.

What do you think about it? I had nothing but western straw to compare it to. I'm still waiting on mine.

I would say thats a good comparison.
But I never minded a stiff western straw, in fact this hat reminds me of a straw fedora my grandfather had one time.

I got caught in a rain storm yesterday with the Whippet on. It shed the water fine. It was none the worst for the rain at all.

I have a couple or three other straws I like a whole lot better than that Arcadia. I just sent one back to Tom for a reflange. I had a bit of an accident with the brim and a high back deck chair. Tom emailed yesterday to tell me it's on its way back to me and should be here before next weekend. That one will be going to TN for sure.

I like the color of that Strat, R, and it's good to see you in a thin ribbon for a change.
