It's funny, a young lady that I work with went out of her way to tell me how poorly that hat matched the suit.

And to think that I avoided wearing that particular hat for so long because I didn't think it suited me. Thank you all for the shot of confidence along with the kind words.

I just came back to the hotel from my brother-in-law's wedding in Fayetteville, TN...an outdoor afternoon wedding. Anybody that was in Tennessee today knows that that amounts to cruel and unusual punishment. Luckily there ceremony was mercifully short and then the festivities were moved to air conditioned indoors. I went with the classic combination of navy blue blazer, red tie, linen pants, brown wingtips, and an Italian boater with red and blue guard's band. Long, long day, so just a quick snap before changing into more comfortable clothes.
