Happy to see you land a strat! It's a beauty
Mid- to late- 50s Stratoliner. Just got it yesterday. A few more pics in the vintage Strat thread.

Catching up a bit. Been mucking about with my new toys yesterday. This is one of them:
Brent, with special thanks to @BobHufford who made it available to me. The colour has to be seen in person to be believed.

In the box was this lovely lightweight Champ too.

All of which almost made me forget about the Dobbs fifteen I wore yesterday

Seems hardly fair doesn't it, after that Brent?
Those are some fine looking lids there, steur. I'm definitely envious!

I have a confession to make: I’ve been traveling a bit and it has been hot, humid, and cumbersome to bring fedoras. I’ve been wearing primarily baseball caps, but as the work season settles back in and temperatures are slightly cooler and air is slightly drier, I’ve been enjoying this stingy Dobbs guild edge for several days.
It is unusual for me to favor a grey hat, or a stingy brim for that matter, but the outdoors are still green so it can work nicely without appearing dull, and maybe the 2 1/8” brim just works better with my recent haircut.
It’s also one of the only hats on which I really enjoy the feather.

That is not my office.
Anyway here are some pics. Enjoy!

I think you can pull off this brim quite well. This stingy does not look stingy. We will excuse the B-ball cap...this time.

Nice looking Brit Max. I was interested in your reply to Stefan about the quality. I don't have one yet, maybe I'll look into another English maker.

In Buffalo, no felts before their appointed time.

You have the constitution (and the hats) to withstand the lure of felt. You are a better man than I sir!

Excellent !! Love the color.
The flying Fin is still flying, Mike.
Thanks guys, this is one of my favorites due to the color.

Good to see that Brent in the sunshine. I knew this one was special when I first saw it. All great hats, but day-um!

That color blue is a strong favorite of mine; looks close to the 50s Cavanagh my wife wears. Excellent hats!

There's a hat in this picture?

Greetings All:
Today it’s Thursday’s straw.
A very old Bangkor straw.
A rather nicely patterned weave that breathes.
Be well. Bowen
It whispers Bowen...sweet nothings.

Two stellar hats today Bowen. I enjoyed both of them.
