I'm not much of a western hat guy, but I like the look of that one. Very cool, Bob.

Thanks Stefan! Glad I was able to follow your lead and wear some fur felt.

Wow, nice. Great shirt too, looks old-timey.

Thanks Perry. The shirt is a Wah-Maker.

Impressive Bob. Kind of reminds me of the "Beard of Knowledge" from Pawn Stars!

Had to look that one up. Thanks Mike! I think... :)

Thats just stunning Bob.

Thank WK! Have a safe trip!

Superb Borsalino Max. You blend in with the most manicured of greens. Definitely not in the rough!

Bon Voyage all you land lubbers....getting ready to sail out in a few hours, shot from the ship looking over New York harbor area. Took the Cabo Palm straw, its built like a tank, even stuck a vintage feather in it for luck. :)

Bon Voyage! That Palm should serve you well. Maybe there will be something coming home with you, never know...

Mike, i really do love this hat!!
It’s color reminds me of the Pervinca (periwinkle-blue) Borsa of mine which i hold dear. Super, super hat!!

It is quickly becoming a grab and go in the front closet. I take it off and look at that bordello liner just for giggles. Thanks friend.

Gills!!!

Adam “Premier Quality” for today’s lid. Enjoy.

Do I remember this being of new vintage? Sure looks like great construction and lines.

Today one of the hats i’ve been wearing is the Mystery Black of Yore. Probably first couple decades of the 1900s??
Ps: No physiologic comments about upturned curled brims here today...nup!!
Be well. Bowen
I have been searching regularly for some reference to this mystery, still no hits. I think that American must be an early hat maker, not one of the big ones, but turn of the century big. Somewhere I'm going to come across an advertisement, newspaper article or something. I won't let this one beat me...

Two of my favorite hats of yours Fabio. Love the crown on that boater.

Still in the high 90s here in North Texas. Went with a vintage Borsalino Light Weight for work this evening.

Super Borsalino Bill. Great crown.

Had to look that one up. Thanks Mike! I think... :)
To me as a historian, Mark Patton is a rock star! Association, even by hat brim, is praise indeed!

You look pretty sharp to us. Keep getting better Michael.
Thanks Red. Was back getting a little more laser work done yesterday. Still can't read the writing on the wall. Ha ha. Several weeks is the story I hear for when my vision will be clear again.

Glorious felt day! Lees of London c1950. First day in a long time where a suit jacket could be tolerated. New wild pocket square gets a spin.

Great Hat, Red. And I like the wild pocket square.

Thanks,
Michael
