Impressive! That brim makes a real statement. I don't know if I could pull this one off.

I haven't posted here recently. Two reasons for that: 1) I haven't purchased any new hats lately, and 2) I'm currently halfway through a dermatological treatment for a pre-cancerous skin condition on my forehead.

I call #2 my "push-me-pull-you" hat. Most hatbands irritate the area where I am applying fluorouracil cream, which itself has caused my forehead to appear as if I had a blotchy sunburn. That's also what it feels like.

So, I've taken to wearing a baseball cap briefly, when walking to my car, or being in the sunlight. I've got my straws at the ready, along with my new Stetson Fredericks, for when my treatment is over and my forehead returns to its better-than-normal state.

Good to hear you are getting care for this. This makes you our "poster child" for wearing nice hats in the UV laden sunshine.

Off to the dentist this morning in a stingy felt. Late 1950s Borsalino Export Qualitat in Mirtillo (Blueberry). Pity the liner has suffered from the hairstyle products of the era. Super nice quality.
