Patty and I attended the OSU Premier of the OPB Oregon Experience episode on the 150th Anniversary of Oregon State University. My Oral History project was highlighted in the early part of the show, the footage of me did not end up on the cutting room floor!1950s Dobbs Boater for an evening event. Premier of the Oregon State University documentary I provided research for. I might even make the final cut as a "talking head"

Congrats, Red! Great work, and great news!Patty and I attended the OSU Premier of the OPB Oregon Experience episode on the 150th Anniversary of Oregon State University. My Oral History project was highlighted in the early part of the show, the footage of me did not end up on the cutting room floor!
The episode is going to air on Monday night, but the streaming version is available on the Oregon Public Broadcasting website.
Hiatus? Hiatus? Is that the best that you can come up with. Not good enough, we shall expect to see a handwritten note from your Mom explaining your absence. And if she gives you a clip around the ear for telling porkies, (rhyming slang, porky pies, lies,) then it serves you right.I haven't been absent THIS long since I started posting years ago. Apologies for such an extended hiatus!

Also, I can’t seem to view many of the pics in this thread. I’m getting that broken picture icon.

Sweet Bailey Eric!Got home yesterday evening and went for a dog walk in a vintage Bailey Royal. This vintage hat has a distinct western flavor, not only in the band treatment, but the big flatter brim. The crown felt is soft and malleable, while the brim is a tad bit stiffer. Not typical western stiff - but not snap brim soft.
The advertisement that came in the original box has stayed intact. The box disintegrated when I first handled it. "One of the Distinctive Products of the California Dons." I have included pics of the tag. It is a fun read.
Best, Eric -
Me too...Also, I can’t seem to view many of the pics in this thread. I’m getting that broken picture icon.
