Looks super, Jim. I really like those lightweight felts, even though they have limited use in between the heavier felts and the straws.Dobbs Cross-country, OPS-era, "Hankachif" felt.

Hats
ut very crisp this morning. Perfect chance to wear this c1955 Borsalino Lobbia in Bismutto one more time this year. Heading up to PDX for class, straw will be in order this afternoon. I've been missing Matt and Moe lately. Anyone heard from them?

Splendid, Alan. Killer hat.I'm cuckoo for baku on a hot day. 2 ounce hat, most of it in the sweatband.
Wonderful hat, Bowen. I like how the rest of the hats seem to follow you around in your pictures.View attachment 120644 View attachment 120645 Greetings All:
Today it’s Stetson’s Boss Clearnutria.
Thanks always.
Be well. Bowen
It will be interesting to see how this one ages and softens up. I kind of like it!My Sterkowski Linen Trilby. I think this is the first time I've worn it outdoors. The hatband is quite stiff. I guess I need to wear it a lot to soften it up!

I love the fine detail of the brim on that Borsalino. I guess better a cat than a herd of moths.Started the day with the Borsalino palladio lightweight.

In the afternoon I switched to straw. Kamir panama. The cat tried to eat this hat once (!), hence the damage to the brim.

Thanks, gents! Thank goodness it didn't seem to like the taste, because otherwise I would have been in trouble. The lightweigth felts are works of art. The palladio is the lightest hat I own at a mere 60 grams. Mindboggling how they managed to pull that off.Thank you, Stefan. As I wear felts all summer, these lightweight, unlined hats are more of a go to for me.

Nice looking Milan Bob. Be cool!
Yes, life is good. Switched to my Pilgrim flat cap for a little biking around noon. Now I've retreated to the AC in the face of the imposing humidity outside.Still cool enough in the mornings for a little felt-fix, life is good...
Love that hat. Wear it every chance you get. I've been wondering about Moe and Matt as well.Sunny and clear, b

I know the feeling. I need a few pockets for my bicycle trips and I seem to have hidden my fishing vest from myself quite effectively. That has about 30 pockets and a ventilated back, so it's handy summer wear. Thanks, Michael. I could have done without the jackets the last few days to be honest, but then I don't know where to put my stuff...
I felt the same way this morning: cool enough to wear a felt, then go for it!
Both great hats Stefan. Bummer about the cat's appetite.Started the day with the Borsalino palladio lightweight.
