On the occasion of my 10,000 post, I look back over the past few years with great appreciation for this community. My hat obsession has developed like a fine wine. I'm a wino...
It all started with graduation from Oregon State with a B.A. in History. My wife thought I should have a "signature" Historian hat. We bought a Scala wool stingy. I found the Lounge through a simple
Google search of Fedora. Over 100 hats later... I am a "collector" (Hoarder?).
I want to thank all of you for being so tolerant of my "obsessive posting" over the past couple of years.

Thanks Justin. Loved you hat and photos from Bode. Great stuff.

We've been having a string of cool nights and mornings turning into fairly warm afternoons. The forecast seems to say that is over and it will be hot from morning til night now. I'll miss the cool mornings.

Another super hat show Stefan. Great hats all.

Thanks,
Michael
Thanks, Michael!

Lovely straw and love the shirt as well. As to head shrinking, that seems to have happened to me as well, but that is not a bad thing when running after nice hats and more affordable price vs bigger (size) heads :).
Thanks Windsock. I wouldn't mind a little head shrinkage if I was in the market for hats at the moment, but it's kind of a pain when my favorite ones get too big.

Besides the cool name, I sure like the lines of this straw. Really a sporty look with that jacket today.
Thanks Red. Congrats on your many posts and hat show. And thanks for all of your kind comments.

Same here, but I know it's because I've been having my hair cut shorter over the last year. Fortunately my hats still fit, but a few of 'em are a little looser now.
Hair thinning could be playing a part for me. I think I seem to be shrinking in the foot parts too.

very excellent Hopoka Michael, and the spectators are pretty nice too
Thanks Richard. The spectators are some vintage Freeman's that I picked up a couple of months ago. Finally getting the proper weather to wear them.

This is a great looking straw- nice pics!

Nice looking hat Red. And it reminds me that I need to make a paisley pug.

Thanks Red. I stayed cool until the last leg of the ride home. The Dobbs served me well and I'm sure it was see a lot of scenery this summer. I gave it a rest when I got home and changed to the Melvin Panama.

I swear I think my head is shrinking. Ever heard of such a thing?

Have a great afternoon,
Michael
Splendid panama, Michael. Usually heads need specialist help to shrink, but who knows...
