Scala “Panama”...
Borsalino "Cocisca" probably 1960s and a recent arrival.
Nice one Jay!You all are wearing some great hats today. I’ve got another piece from panamahatsdirect. My summer straw collection is still limited.

I can relate to that. This year we're lucky. Summer is during a weekend. When I first saw this photo I was going to delete it. My house is rendered and the surface painted white, so strong was the sunlight this morning that the sun's reflection has overpowered the photo subject. Yesterday we had similar weather, yet come the evening and we had a thunder storm that rattled the roof tiles. So I'll keep this photo, just to prove that we do have a summer, and as I have said before, It's my favourite day of the year.

I think it looks great, Jack. Not only the crease, the whole hat actually.Tried to put an arrowhead into this Stagecoach without steam.

Dobbs poly fedora shaped "straw". I liked the color...oh well. I put a nicer pug on it, lipstick on a pig. Actually I like this hat a lot.

Visiting dignitaries today include my 9 month-old granddaughter, here this morning!
STILL wearing this Panama Hats Direct "Havana;" with a redux using vintage ribbon and (much more important) a non-allergenic sweatband by Mr. Fawcett.

The dilemma of having a large collection is that you have to choose...Good thing is that all your hats look good, Eric.Yesterday evening out and about in a Gannon (green moss with gills).
This morning I found myself selecting between two vtg. Lee All Americans. Gray or buckskin, buckskin or gray. It was 6:00am and still sleepy I mused about it for a bit. I chose the buckskin felt.
Best, Eric -
Great way to start off the week. Beautiful hats.Good Monday morning to everyone.Nice cool morning here in NE Ohio.I didn't have A Stratoliner now I have 3.A vintage I'm wearing today,2 modern a reg and a premier.I did some work for a very generous lounge member who gifted me 3 strats and 4 other hats.(that's a story for another thread)Didn't think I deserved them, but a huge thanks to triple-d.
Excellent outfit as usual, Michael. But it does seem to fit autumn instead of spring.A Champ on a cool and misty morning.

Fortunately I hadn't packed away all the winter clothes yet. Had to pull on a very vintage Pendleton and a wool jacket.

My kind of weather, actually.
Have a good one,
Michael
You should, Brent: it's a fine looking hat.Agnoulita in caramel before the heat drives me out of felt.
This is my first day wearing this economy custom. I’m really liking it so far.

Outstanding ribbon work on both, Justin. That Mayser will serve you for years to come I think. These Echter Maysers are real quality hats.Couple newbies to share!
Had to wear something British while watching HBO's hilarious coverage of the royal wedding. Went with this new-to-me skimmer - British make by way of Toronto Canada. It came to me sans sweat band with a stained ribbon so I installed a Bond-band and some fresh grosgrain.
Today, wearing a Mayser, stamped 1958. I swapped out the crown ribbon and re-flanged the brim. It's a nice little hat but I'd classify it as a bit of a beater. Dried out sweat band, torn liner film, crown could use a reblocking, and the kindly deutscherman who used to own it was definitely a smoker. Still, a nice lid. If the sweat eventually cracks apart, I'll give it a full overhaul.
Looks good to me!View attachment 119639

Nice to see a longhair hat when you don't expect to see one anymore. No straw weather I gather, Mike?Stingy morning, straw afternoon. Wearing my Penn Craft (English License) long hair from about 1963. Love the finish. One of my few feather adorned hats. The long hair seems to hold the feather so nicely.
