A joyus Straw Day to all! Taking a drive down south to visit Mike Miller today, I'll say hello. Although I rolled out the boater today, it would not fit in the car. So I'll go with a Lee Nassau from the 1950s.

The Lee is a gem Mike. I eased into straw this afternoon.

You know that hat is high on my 'wanted' list, Michael
I'll keep you in mind if I ever need to part with it, Stefan.

You haven't done it justice, Michael. Aren't pilgrims supposed to get around? Looks great.
It does need to get more travel in. It's very lightweight, maybe as light as my Dallas.

I see a little brim flattening and also a touch of sewing repair are in order. I took it into the woods and collected a few of the mushrooms I spotted a couple of days ago.

Golden oysters.

I collected a bit over a kilogram and there is still probably about 2 or 3 times that left there. I'll let them size up for another day or two and hope they are still there.

Have a good Straw Hat Day,
Michael
