An odd ball, Royal Stetson Open Trail.
Cousin to an OR i guess. Prob 60’s with a Last Drop liner. 70’s Trucker jacket. Still rolling.

Great hat. You avoided using the word “homburg”, but it sure looks to check all the boxes. I’ve never seen one like this and I’m diggin’ it a lot.

My apologies for the spam attack Need some help guys! Some where here a photo was posted of a half dozen or so modern Texas Rangers in jeans, white shirts and white hats bellied up to the bar. All of them with gun belts still on. Anyone know where that picture is and where it came from? I have searched and have yet to find it again. Love to be able to copy and save the photo. Thanks for the help!

Porker! Just arrived, a Royal Delux Stetson Pork Pie with a back bow. "Stingy" with a 2" brim and 4" crown, low and sleek! This style made a resurgence in the mid to late 1950s. This hat is full featured and has very impressive felt in hand. I have other back bows, one of my favorite styles, but this one will see some head time for sure. This will be my hat at rehearsal this evening.

Wasn't quite late enough to be the Red Eye when I flew into DIA Monday night but I was the only one on the shuttle to the hotel. Just got back home about 2 hrs ago.

I don’t know what it is. I’ve never seen another. I don’t know if someone curled the brim. Prob did. The construction seems original. It looks like i outta be dealing cards or selling snake oil with it. Which is ok, that’s what drew me to it. I like different.
