Both are great hats. And I really love the color and texture of the Pilgrim. It reminds my of THE POLAR.
August company indeed to be mentioned in the same paragraph as THE POLAR . Thanks Matt.

I remain troubled by how much I dig the Huggy Bear Cavanagh lord's hat. I think that this is the fourth time that it's been for a spin this week.

Happy Friday bonus sunset shot, too.

That hat has truly found its home Matt. I love it
Thanks, Rog.
Maybe you’ll start to fly with the fowl, or perhaps be courted by a beautiful bird.
Ha!

Most likely that l will fly with the foul, and that any bird that courts me will look like this...

A Green Knox Vagabond was worn this morning on my walkabout.

This green hued late 1940's felted fedora is incredibly lightweight. It has the noticeable blocked Knox crown of the 40's and early 50's. The advertisement below shows some natty fellows sporting the hat.

Simple leather sweat is really comfortable. The unlined hat has the Knox emblem at the top of the inside crown and is in minty condition.

My challenge over the next days is to hat crease whisper. I need to sort out the crease. Most hats I do not spend a lot of time doing this as I crease them as I put them on. This hat is so supple that after the walk I had a hat that looked much diferent from either my hands or tree/brush touches. Steam should activate enough stiffeners to give a crease that will better guarentee a consistent appearance.

Ah yes, it is green. This gray/green is hard to capture in late winter sun. Cheers, I will have to wear this hat more in order to showcase it's real green.

Channeling Vagabond this morning, Eric -
Very cool color Eric. I really like this one.

Another Premier Vita-Felt, today.

Merry Friday.

Vita goodness Matt!

The Bone Lord sounds like somebody Conan the Barbarian would fight.
Sent directly from my mind to yours.
I'm thinking it should be "The Evil Bone Lord's Hat". Conan the Barbarian is no match!

Awesome hat Mike! The brim edge stitching makes it unique. Congrats!
Mike Miller had to sell me on trying this. I am totally loving it. Should have known.

Looks great Red. Love the color of that ribbon with the bone felt.

Michael
Thanks Michael, bone is an interesting color. Has some cream tones, very light cream.

Should be a nice enough day here, before heading back to cold weather. I'm thinking I like this Pilgrim porkpie today.

Seems the right vibe to go with some '60s houndstooth

But I've got to admit that this Royal Stetson OR garnered a few votes too.

The heather finish on that porkpie really goes with the color of that suit. You would look good with a bucket on your head though.

LOL!
I was going to say that the Bone Lord's Hat sounds like a boss weapon from an online video game I used to play...
I think you get extra lives from wearing it. At least I hope so...

AWESOME hat. Where'd you find this one??
It was a joint creation between Mike Miller from NW Hats and myself. He always wanted to see how bone would work on this style...nailed it!

50s-60s Leone Cappanelli Milan weave for the blistering 62F heat today! View attachment 112393 View attachment 112394
That is one sweet Milan Tuk, loooove the weave.

Way cool hat Mike, can't wait for more pics
It was too late to get some more shots when I got home. It will be my Easter bonnet on Sunday, so probably then.
