Love the Playboy Jim. You and all of us are probably the only folks who see the irony of wearing this one today.Oh, man, Matt, the Huggy has found a home! Mike's a stand-up guy. In fact, we have some wonderful, kind and generous folks on here!
A beautiful Ohio Palm Sunday. Bright sun and brisk air. I too am skating close to the edge of Mass in this 50s-era Stetson Playboy. I always feel a little guilty wearing a "Playboy" to services.
Yeah, um...no.

Just lovely. Not a term that I use on Harv's posts of your hats. But, in all fairness, I guess he is lovely too! It’s the original.
Man, I love that hat. Super cool tweedness today also. You always put a smile on my face.A sunny and bracing morning. Seems perfect for a Marathon

Thanks Matt. Aesthetically pleasing perhaps, but not so much so as pheasant feathers and tie-dye. Love that hat and jacket you have on today.I do love that hat. Color is just wonderful. The green scarf along with it is very aesthetically pleasing.
Thanks Red. This hat and suit are probably my favorite combo.Man, I love that hat. Super cool tweedness today also. You always put a smile on my face.
Oh, did I type Jealous? I meant mortified. [emoji14]
Enjoy the day.

I dug that hat when Mike posted photos and it looks great on you too Matt. I’ve never met Mike, but such kindness from him does not surprise me, he just gives off that vibe.
Great hat and Great Jacket Harv. But given the signage on the vehicle shouldn't it be garbage wagon instead of mud buggy?
A match made in heaven. Psycho-delic. Ha ha.

The Huggy Bear needed to live with the Grateful Dead jacket! I figured sending the hat to you would prevent you coming to your senses and thinking better of this one. Now that I see it in action, my heart is full. My pleasure, my friend.
Great looking hat. And combined, all three are italiatemalexan!March compromise Italian hat, Guatemalan shirt and Texas Lady Banksia background
Have a great Sunday

It would be worth it to have someone to talk hats with, my wife is not interested.Mike definitely seems to be a righteous dude. Heck... He's even gonna let me crash in his hat room so I don't have to live in taped together refrigerator cartons when I say "up yours" to the square life here and flee to greener pastures.
My gratitude knows no bounds, brother. And a full heart... well... you can't beat that.
Have a not unreasonable amount of fun out there today.
Thanks Michael! That hat is so nice Moe. Serious covet going on here in the midlands.
Great image Roger!Pecan VS today

Thanks mmb! Thanks Mike. I'll start packing my hats.
Great looking hat, Stefan.
Thanks Stefan.
That is a "special" hat. Fantastic, old derby! And it handles the elements like a hat should.
The attached is from the Des Moines Register. April 25, 1914.
I love that ribbon on that grey!
That is beautiful. It looks like it just hit the shelves at the store.
YES, D!
You just kill in that thing.
Super hat Harv, I really like the flash of red in the bow. Nice IH too. My in-laws had a similar one but 4 door from the mid 60s that they only drove in bad weather. My mother-in-law gave it to their mechanic before she moved down closer to us. I almost died.Taking it easy today after spending all day yesterday working on the mud buggy.

Thanks Mike! This hat always makes me smile John. And yes, it is the ribbon!
Very nice straw, you tease! Love that ribbon treatment.
I wish I could say "I feel your pain..." but we just don't get this kind of snow here in the valley. If we get 1"-2" the whole region is paralyzed. I lived in Anchorage AK during my USAF days, so I guess, I feel your pain Michael.
You just sit there and rest, I'll bring you a beer. You worked hard today. Nice Fed.
there is just something about a well dressed man in a fine Derby. This one appears to have some age. Very enjoyable.
Good guys wear white hats. Oh, you must have been very, very good! Love it Harv.
Superb Tonio. Quite impressive lines on this one.
Great hat and coat and a wonderful gesture from @Redfokker. Cheers to Matt and Mike on this one.In 1939 Mr. Smith Goes to Washington. In 2018, Huggy Bear Goes to Virginia Beach.
Earlier this week, I expressed how groovy I thought Mike's Cavanagh lord's hat, Huggy Bear, is. I really never imagined that I would dig a hat with a feather band. But I could not dispell the thought it would be a sweet wear along with a certain jacket that I have.
Mike and I later PM'd about perhaps doing a future trade. We didn't settle on anything and I just catalogued the task of looking for some suitable hat to send to Mike in exchange.
Well, last evening I was surprised to find an unexpected package by my front door.
I never really expected to wear the jacket to Mass. But, convention be damned. Huggy Bear demands that it happen this Palm Sunday.
We live in a time when self-centered cruelty, narcissism and indifference to others often seems to rule our culture. Mike, it seems to me that your everyday kindness tips the scales a bit back towards the way things ought to (and can) be.
Thanks, my friend.
Have a kind day, all.
Fantastic! @Redfokker too. Got look great, and Mike's generosity is remarkable. In 1939 Mr. Smith Goes to Washington. In 2018, Huggy Bear Goes to Virginia Beach.
