Dd, looking good in the moonstone CD. It's that one and HJ's that really pushes me towards getting one. I think I may be one of the few around here that doesn't own a CD.

Good looking Hamm's bar sign as well. Really like it, the beer, meh. Although I've probably drank a barrel full. When you finish with your garage head east. I could use some help. Beers on me.

Warning, I am a beer snob and only drink craft beers$. My dad was a sales rep for Hamms, and other wines and liquors. I still have a lot of Hamms memorabilia. As a child my room was decorated with the Hamms cartoon characters and a picture of a cowboy lighting a cigarette. I still have it. My wife says no wonder you like to drink and smoke! However I no longer smoke, and gave away a humidor of robustos, on my doctors advice.

I thought Homburgs would have a wider brim. I might be mistaken of course.
The real differences are not so much in the measurements, but in the overall shapes:

XulJiyf.jpg

Homburgs generally have crowns with little or no taper, and Center Dent creases are quite common. Their brims are curled upward at the outer edges and bound, regardless of brim width. Trilbys are shaped more like fedoras, except with lower and usually more tapered crowns, and definitely narrower brims.

Your latest hat definitely looks more "Homburg" than "Trilby" to me. Nice work!

End of the week I was outside happily wearing a vtg. Stetson Stratoliner. This was advertised as being "Cadet Blue."

Traveling/working this weekend I grabbed a pic of my cap, gunboats and coffee during a "travel wait."

This evening I arrived home and needed to complete some outside chores before the forecasted big storm. I wore a vtg. blue Mallory.

Too cool for words Harv.

Fantastic Whippet. Would love to find a green one around here.

Great twofer D. And that coat is totally top drawer.

Wow, love that Disney. Most excellent.

Michael

Thanks Michael. I picked the coat up about 10 years ago from Nordstrom. It’s labeled as a John B Nordstrom, but made in China!

Looks very good. The cashmere jacket I wore yesterday is a John Nordstrom, but that one was made in the USA I think. I have other jackets and maybe a suit from the Signature line that were made in China. They all seem to be nice and use top notch fabrics.
