Under the category of "If you've got a holiday, I'll celebrate," I wish the world a joyous PURIM, the Jewish Mardi Gras!! (No beads necessary!) It was yesterday.

Wearing "Old English Hatters of Monte Carlo" of an undetermined age (manufacturing techniques remained the same for several decades, so guesses have ranged from the 1930s to the early 1960s). Open crown to start, but I installed a dent and some gentle pinches later. I may even snap down the brim!

And it has a BB!

That's a cool hat for post-Purim recovery.

When I saw the pic with the bottle, what popped into my head was you at the end of your driveway stumbling around, violently shouting slurred insults at your neighbors for perceived sleights. Of course... that's probably just because that was my favorite pastime after I used to sit on my stoop sucking down forties of High Life.

Be careful in that weather headed your way.

Because you ran out of Annie Green Springs?

Thanks, Matt! I'm trying to cut back on bothering the neighbors. There has only been one minor incident this year, and the Town Fence Viewer kept the peace. And you, as a lawyer know that a good settlement is one where BOTH parties are equally dissatisfied. Right?!

Your Knox this morning is a real prize winner... a WIDE blue ribbon, even!
