Thank you all for the kind words about yesterday's homburg.

Whereas that hat tended towards blue, this one leans towards green. It is a Royal De Luxe that used to be a homburg.

May each of you have a sunny Sunday.

I like this, your wonderful light colored hats forcing mother nature to usher in spring in a big way. This one is another show stopper Matt.

What a marvelous assortment of hats, Eric.

Mid-morning grilled fish with a fine beer... you sir, are one smart and classy dude.

Thanks Matt. It is a pleasure to have a day off and choose my own schedule. Mid morning meal sounded like the ticket after being up and around since 5:00am.

Very enjoyable images Eric. You always provide great hat porn when it is needed most. Beautiful lids.

Thanks Mike. You are very kind. Congrats to the college gymnastics team. Glad you made an opportunity to support them this week.

Best, Eric -

Sunday already?

Old military clothes work well with the color of that Champ. Great outfit Sir.

On this overcast gray morning it seemed a vintage dark grey Borsalino was in order.

Looking so dapper and cool Bill. Nice form on the old Borsalino.

I know you've considered going back to that hat's roots, but I think it's a fantastic conversion and love the look of it. Frankly, I think it looks a lot like my modern RD Stetsonian.

Thanks Jim. I love the look of it as it is, too. @bond did a simply marvelous job.

I reckon' that I'm going to spend considerable time in contemplation before I decide if I will try to have it re-homburgized. But it is a difficult problem. Of course... there is absolutely no hurry. And the problem provides me a great opportunity to practice my equivocation skills.

Your modern RD looks great. And it certainly looks alot like mine. Does the felt have a minty green look to it, too?

No, it's straight up light gray.
