Cold is back in the late evening and early morning

Lobbia Borsalino restored in USA in the west coast by the BSHW workmanship
On the background in the right corner there is the house, now restored, where my maternal grand father, Edoardo, was born
It was sold in East countries before the WWII
No paper label, but I guess the color is "Mirtillo" or one of the endless greys Borsalino used
The felt is fantastic as the shape. It is one of my favourite of the period
Have nice Friday
Thanks for your likes!
A beautiful and classic Lobbia Daniele. The history of your grand father's house is special.

Wonderful hat, Daniele. Is the house still in the family?

Happy it's Friday. Happier I have this fantastic hat built by Michael Gannon.
Color's most accurate in the last pic.
Everybody have a happy Friday!
Sent directly from my mind to yours.
Gorgeous Gannon Jim. I like that charcoal ribbon combo.

For the fun o' Friday, a Dobbs.
It's nice to see the camelias doing their job again, too. I was a bit worried about them after the heavy snow and bitter cold at the beginning of last month.
Have a swell day.
Spring has sprung? Super Dobbs Matt.

Great hat Michael! I love the curled brim. That is a good color also. The dimensions look the same as my Topeka and Montana.

Of all the hats I have seen on your head, I think this one suits you best of all.

Such a great looking hat, Michael.
Thanks steur. I was very happy when that one showed up locally.

Michael, are you some magical universal size that everything fits?
Ha ha, I wish. I have enough hats around here that attest otherwise. That is a great 25 OR you have on today.

Now that is a western I could get into. Love that brim curl. Cool stagecoach pin too.
Thanks Red. You should have at least one western.

Happy Friday everyone! Today is the blue/gray Hückel Special. This hat is my "Flying Finn" hat sold at Olympian Paavo Nurmi's hat store in Helsinki in the 1950s. I thought the Olympic connection was appropriate this week.

Great choice for the Olympics. Super looking hat.

Thanks D-dog. The brim is 3 1/4 and the crown is 4 1/2 front and 5 sides as pinched.

Of all the hats I have seen on your head, I think this one suits you best of all.
Thanks Scotty. As I was digging through my hat pile this morning I realized this one hasn't had any head time in quite awhile. I should probably not let that happen again.

Thanks all for the comments and likes,
Michael
