I really like the sandy grain look of the felt. Nice.
Thanks Matt, the Nurtia does have a cool finish

It's a fantastic hat, Richard. I should wear mine more often.
Thanks Stefan, I've had this one a couple of months and this is the first time I've worn it. It deserves better.

Looking good in that rare Railbird Richard. I'm glad to see it in action. I really wanted this interesting hat, but funds/timing were not in the cards. Super interesting and great looking hat.
Thanks Mike, it seems like you are confusing this one with the RB Anthony sold a few weeks ago. His was pretty much mint, this one does show a little wear but is definitely a very nice hat. I should wear it more.

Sweeeet way to start off the morning!

I'm a fan

Mmmmmmm, this one right here!

Great one!

Great choice 101!

Beautiful example

Swell cap!

That bow is amazing

Always a pleasure seeing your postings. Awesome hat

All three are SPECIAL

Right outta left field, comes this stunning RB! Loooove it

Nothing wrong with a repeat, especially when it is as nice as that

Niiiiiiiiice

Thanks for sharing your day!
Thanks Justin, I wish I could even pretend to keep up with the great hats you post.

Dunlap derby from the early 20th c. for a visit to my folks' house in Richmond.

I drove up with the top down. It was pretty funny... on the interstate, three people waved for my attention so that they could roll down their windows and shout to me about how much they dug the hat. I've never seen such enthusiasm for one of my hats from the general public before.

Dad is wearing a Chinese Dockers branded straw that he brings out when he throws tennis balls for their airdale, Karma.

The fact that our community has TWO of these rare hats on display is significant. I had only seen Anthony's Railbird around, thought it was the only one in captivity. Impressive hat Ricard.

Looking good there John. I always like to see the colors on the Columbo, striking.

Another chilly winters day. Cleaning out the extra snow that was blown around with the 50 km winds

Still custom made. Wife’s friend knitted it for me. I wanted a Voyager red toque but got burgundy instead. Wife’s decision. Stay warm my friends.

Haven't been posting this week because work kept me busy. Had to restrict myself to the "likes" button, but some awesome hats I've seen coming by. Keep them coming! I did manage to shoot a couple of the hats I've worn this week.

Good looking Stagecoach, I like the crease you have in it. Nice location!
Thank you.
The location is a tourist attraction were the translation is like "tipical portuguese small town". It have a lot of old stuff Portuguese people used to work with. Sadly, no hatter stuff.
They make a bread with chorizo (the bread is cooked in the woven with the sliced chorizo already inside).

Nice looking Strat, D. What dimensions do you have on that one, (open crown height, brim width)? I have a modern premier Whippet that a lounger gave me. On that one the felt was pretty thick, almost like Western weight. I ended up having to rework it. How's the felt on your Excellent?
