Very malleable felt, very similar to Mike's "Angora" Borsalino
The color is really bizarre, it is a mixture of light and dark gray with shades of brown

A real heather felt with brownish colored ribbon

I arrived home from travels to 11.5" of new snow. Snowblower time this morning. I chose a Filson Mackinaw and a Donegeal cap for the effort.

I cut trails thru the yard with the dogs wearing a vtg. Stetson Playboy. Perfect light weight vintage fedora for the effort.

Today I'm Vita-Felting again under a 1946 Royal Stetsonian.

It's the same vintage as my dad. I like that (among other things [including the screwed around liner]) about it.

Royal Stetson. This IS one of my favorite hats because of the different color (Forest Green) and that it came as an open crown and I put the crease in it.

That Stetson is classic Michael. The flecks of color in that suit really draws the eye. Super cool look!

Thank you, sir. There are very few vintage ones that turn up. This one popped up several years ago on the Bay with a BIN at a reasonable price. I hit the button so fast I hurt a finger.

A custom maker could do the job for you. This fella here just executed one that's as close as I've seen. If you ever want the dimensions of mine, let me know.
