Haven't been posting and commenting on all the great hats the last few days, due to an inflammation to my eyes (couldn't see the keyboard properly). So I left out my eyes on the headshots of yesterday and today (doing a bit better, thank you).
Yesterday was the Konsul chamois finish.

Today the Mauerer again.

Both great hats! Hope your peepers are back to normal soon.

Knice Knox, great snow shots - you're channeling Eric there. Have a great Saturday.

LOL, you do look dressed for an outing in Siberia. That and a bowl of borscht sounds like proper fare.
Thanks for the kind words on the Whippet. You might be able to pull off a green hat with a purple shirt. Pics prove I can't!:)
The size tag just has the fraction.
Try adding a wine colored knit tie and olive pants. Might work. Ha ha. Thanks for the Whippet info.

Now that looks like a warm cap. Very nice Michael.
Thanks Cornshucker. The cap did keep my head warm, but I made the mistake of not putting one glove on for a couple of minutes and it took the rest of the trip downtown for it to warm up again.

A fitting hat for the weather you guys are putting up with.
Yes, Red. The hat worked well. I see it's -18 this morning. Another one of those days where the high for the day will be a midnight tonight. Might warm up enough by the time I take my daily photos for a hat, but I doubt it.

That looks positively regal, Michael. Fantastic!
Thanks steur. A couple of great hats you just showed. Hope your eyes shape up quickly.

Thanks all,
Michael

That is a beautiful Knox, Matt! Fantastic ribbon contrast color to the felt.

Stay warm!

Thanks Harv. No need to work to stay warm here. It's a balmy 9 degrees this morning. Perfect top down weather. [emoji16]

Thanks Jim.

May Saturday bring you an abiding awareness of sat. That is, "sat" in the Hindu sense: eternal and immutable existence; the pure essence of being.

Have fun.

Thanks Stefan. The Vanzina is a real gem in perfect condition. A lucky find, but.......see below

How are you all doing? Best wishes to all loungers for the new year. I would have said that earlier, but first work was crazy busy and then I was a bit under the weather for a few days.

Here us on our way to my nephews third birthday.
