View attachment 100321 On the final day of 2017, my light sage Vintage Silhouettes dress felt at my sister/brother-in-law's in preparation for this evening. Full disclosure... we started early.

Who could I think of, except for @Chamuco when we polished off this bottle! How'd we do, Rodolfo?!!
Have a wonderful celebration Charlie! That VS is a perfect match to the 1942 Rodolfo, classic!

Back from my sojourn to the north country. Only to find I dragged the cold weather along with me. -11 degrees F here this morning while I was out shoveling some of the 6 or 8" of snow that fell while I was gone.

And numerous other pieces of cold weather gear. Lovely day.

I trust everyone had a fine Christmas and are looking to ring in the New Year in fine fettle,
Michael

Michael I feel your pain (bitting lip *here*) . I'm in +12 and getting at least 10degrees colder tonight , and I'm wondering if my parents were sane , they let me campout in -9F for three days when I was in the Eighth Grade . Sheesh I was bat crazy . Stay warm !

That parka looks like the kind I wore at Elmendorf AFB Alaska in the 1970s. Thirty below on the flightline humping F4 Phantoms, it just barely kept me alive.

I have been on that flightline doing de-icing testing on C-17s as recently as February 2015. You ain't kidding. There's not much to break the breeze out there!

Happy New Year Jim. Love the Stetson. I wish I could have got one before they went away. I'll keep looking.

I think you can find one. I have this feeling, however, this color will be tougher to come by.

Every time I try to leave this place ...

Just love you guys too much ... here’s to another year on the lounge

Happy New Year Cavanagh, love it! Much love and respect to you Ant. You have been very kind to me during my short time (relatively) here in this family. Many good hats to you in 2018!

That would be the model Red, though this one dates to a 1988 contract. It's a fairly warm coat for sure.

I always wanted to try winter camping, but I'm afraid I don't have the cold tolerance anymore. I did find the cold temps last week rather refreshing. The air is so dense and oxygen rich. Ha ha. It was definitely more in the area of fur hat weather than fur felt weather for sure.

Thanks all,
Michael
