Love the brim curl on that one, Greg.
Wow, Greg. That brim is stupendous.
What vintage is that beautiful piece of felt?
... "Most Wanted"
The brim and ribbon really make this one stand out. Great looking hat, especially in black.

Hey folks!
Despite what Fruno may say, no baby seals were harmed in the making of this 50's Tonak Seal Velour.
That is such a wonderful lid! Brim is to die for.
My oldest custom from Art witnessed the arrival.

A refurbished 1980's 4X Stetson. 3.5 inch rolled brim. This has a 6.75" open crown although I have it dented at 4" in the front and 6.5 in the back. Also a one inch grosgrain ribbon. I really like these 1980's Stetsons. Very easy to work with and this one cleaned up very nicely.
Thanks! This hat still has great felt. It's not marked Seal Velour but it's similar. You can see a drop in the quality of the components (probably some market related) but the felt is still excellent.Very nice green velour. EU sure did make the best velour I've seen and felt.
Harv, Thank you!Lovely Steve! Great color.

Mike, Thanks too! Yes it's definitely a Soviet Market Tonak. If I get a chance I will take a photo of the paper label. What a piece of history. I really like the color and finish. A USSR hat, really cool Comrade!
Whoa.Thanks, Matt. Late 1800's-early 1900's?
