Last night and this morning, furry stark white Stratton, with double stitched brim. It likes the winter.

Very cool hat Jeff, it definitely looks like a winter hat
I think it's close to the color of my Whippet (and David's (@DJH) as well. However, his and mine have matching ribbons, whereas yours contrasts. It's an intriguing and unique color.

Today I'm braving a little weather and the pre-Christmas traffic to get my weekly grocery shopping done. I figured this 3X OR was up to the task.

Heading off to work wearing a light gray Melton Ten for the first time. It has a 3” brim and a pretty severe slope when snapped down. I have to tilt it back just a bit to be able to see. It originally had a black hatband with a single bow. I had fellow lounger bond replace it with this silver-gray ribbon. He did awesome work on the gills.

Venturing out into the freezing fog this morning in my new Scottish Homburg (Haggis-burg?). This older homburg comes from R W Forsythe Hatters in Edinburgh and Glasgow. Not much to go from on this one. A very generic mfg tag with just a block # and size (7 English, I assume). No marks on the reeded sweat with a taped rear seam (no bow). The union tag is a beauty, I'll have to research this one later today. I have been remiss in posting this one in the Homburg Nation. I think this may be on the rare side, at least the Haberdasher where it came from. Have not noticed many Scottish hats on the Lounge.

Rainy Saturday. Have to do last minute Christmas shopping. Never believe her if she says she doesn’t want any gifts this year... ...good luck gentlemen!

Beautiful Borsalino, and you're right don't risk the no gifts bit. Even if she really doesn't want anything you'll be a hero.

A classic homburg in proportions and colors

Felt is soft and pliable, the form is what I call "rounded" for this type of hats

It arrived in one of the Italy-Holland exchange to improve my passion for homburgs. Thanks Stefan
