Another sunny and cold day before Christmas

Charles hatter's in black. Classic and imponent hat with brim at 6.5 cm. and crown at 12 cm. with matching ribbon
xbff2c.jpg

Interesting hat in black soft felt marked "Charles hatter's" with paper label very similar to Vanzina and Borsalino
flizxc.jpg

They share with the Alessandria production the name of colors and the identation and same lettering
1hx91.jpg

One of these days, cold permitting, I will do some research on the production "Charles hatter's" It could reveal some surprises

Spend a good Thursday, today is the winter solstice.
A huge thank you for the words yesterday for Borsalino and for likes, they were a good sign for the future of Italian hats production

Charles MUST be top shelf stuff, Daniele... just saying. Gorgeous!!

Over cast skies this morning here in Alabama BUT warm enough to ride the Big Indian Chief to work. Two for you this morning. 1) my only Huckel hat and 2) I’m an Elf today at work!

That Huckel is grand. How broad is the brim?

And the elf hat... It gets a thumbs up for grooviliciousness.

Cold and sun
Borsalino Qualità Suprema

"Aureola" is the color and the ribbon is "Bulgari"

Contrasting ribbon on a soft felt

Proportions are : brim at 6 cm. and crown at 12 cm.

It came new from Meran

Aureola (halo) is the color around the saints heads, hope it is also on one saint to protect Borsalino of these days
Thanks a lot for appreciations and kind words you gave me!
Sorry I missed this one yesterday morning. The "halo" color is aptly named. One of my favorites Daniele.

Bantam

Another great looking light colored hat. The Bantam is a winner Harv.

And the parade continued...beautiful Bob.

Catalena Hatters
Have a wildly wonderful Wednesday

Love the brim on this Catalena Richard. Very nice hat. Love seeing it.

After a few days with old (over 62) friends at "The Villages" in Florida, I'll need a few days to catch up! What a community they have there; activities and (I heard) over 1000 "clubs" of about every variety of interest you can think of... except hats.

Borsalino Torino, in charcoal today...

You look really "sporty" Charlie. That hat should fit right in with that community. Enjoy.

A Penman today.

Nice tone of gray on that beautiful Penman Jay. Looks great.

Kinda blue or grey or lavender or periwinkle or bluish grey purply Knox Madison Ave.

Hell... I don't know what color it is. I dig the monochromatic ribbon, though. View attachment 98898 View attachment 98899 View attachment 98900 View attachment 98901 View attachment 98902 View attachment 98903 View attachment 98904
And a substantial ribbon it is Matt. It really makes a statement on that Knox.

Hey all!
Pimbell (most likely made by Cavanagh) on a bright chilly afternoon.

Have a great day!

Pimball is cool John! A clean looking hat.

New to me Borsalino Traveler:

Looks really nice DH. Love the way it swoops. Nice snag.

Love this Dorer!

Heading to the younger sisters Choir performance, and bringing along a 20s Stetson
Your collection is incredible Justin. This hat is a prime example.

Trying desperately to up the grooveliciousness today, but off to a questionable start. The first thing I did this morning when I got in was to spill hot sauce on my shirt. Then my coworker knocked over her coffee. Waiting for the next shoe to drop.

(sigh)

But I'm not discouraged. No siree Bob! Because I'm wearing this Knox Superfine brown heather - now with the added goodness of a @DOGMAN liner. Thanks, Chuck!

That is an impressive Huckel 101! Brim width to the max.

Snowy and bitter cold today, hence the Fed IV.

Nice looking Fed Jay. Stay warm.

Resistor Ten is my humble contribution for the day

That Resistor goes with Jim's Redi-Kilowatt persona. Love the color Richard.
