Good morning fellow hat lovers!
I'm wearing a vintage Churchill, 2 1/8" cavanagh-edge brim:

The best kind of bar.
Sent directly from my mind to yours.

I agree, Jim. Unfortunately they're a dying breed around here. It's almost all corporate.

Beautiful green and perfect crease. A little too classy for a dive!

Well today was a banner hat day. Merry Christmas to me. Two boxes, one from the Netherlands and one Ebay. Just a quick look at:

View attachment 97947 From Stefan: A Borsalino "Angora" c.1955 View attachment 97948 Another Borsalino, this time a "Savoy" This one is for Mike Miller. View attachment 97949 And finally, a rather interesting Homburg from Scotland, maker unknown. The Ebay images showed it much more like a Navy blue, it appears to be black.

More posting later after I process this haul. I'm tired. I need a cigarette and a nap.
WOW

WOW.

Killer pick-ups, Mike.

Now that is a beautiful berg! I really like the brim width.

Thanks DD.

This is one that @rclark passed my way a year or so ago. It's the first and only Resistol I have owned.

I had always associated Resistol with westerns and later era, on the stingy side, fedoras. This was a stunning introduction to the company.

The felt is extraordinarily light and malleable and the feel of the finish reminds me of the fine, downy hair that newborns have on their bodies when born.

You, my friend, would rock one.

Have a fun day.

Dude... YOU ARE MY FASHION HERO.

That cloak!!!

Man...
Haha, more along the unfashion line I think.

That is one fine looking Homburg.

Favorite vintage 'stars in the logo' Stratoliner.
