I'm looking to make my own 100% beaver hat but I'm having a hard time finding beaver/ western hat blanks. Anyone have any clue where I can purchase capelines other than just rabbit felt?

Hey all!
Thanks for all the likes and kind words on yesterday's Pilgrim and assorted fancy duds.
Going Italian today with an Acne Jeans leather and a Borsalino Colombo featuring my new signature.

Very nice Borsalino, ribbon color is great. Don't play with the matches though

Michael, you have to let me know if you ever open a vintage clothing store, or better yet, a vintage shopping service. The deer skin jacket blew me away. You have such eclectic tastes and you always pull them off wonderfully! Love the brim up OR.
Ha ha, thanks DH. I'll let you know if I decide to do that.

Nice hat, nice bash
Thanks Samuel. You've been running a good hat show lately.

Thanks all,
Michael

Nice, it looks good with that kind of crease.

The XXXX Quality Champ protects me today as I begin the dreaded Christmas light installation. Gotta love the Holidays.

Two of my neighbors put their lights up today...but I'm not going to let that bother me!:mad: Went to a winery this afternoon for Federweisser and Zweibelkuchen so ladders were not advisable. I love that XXXX quality champ.

Daily vintage Stetson . It's in the 50s in Milwaukee today have to be out in it. Cheers

Survived Thanksgiving the temperature in Northern California is around 78 F so, we have a heatwave. Kind of a bummer, we're wanting cooler weather...

Yes, but you don't have to bundle up to keep warm at least. The hat works for all the heat you will need.

One of our Thanksgiving traditions is to go out to a friend's winery here in the Willamette Valley to get away from turkey leftovers. A bottle of Federweisser wine, which is a young Reisling still in the fizzy phase and a German sausage with grilled goodness. The other delicacy is Zwiebelkuchen, which is like a onion quiche. Absolutely beautiful day here, we sat outside and enjoyed the vineyard for the first time in years. Black Friday means you wear a black derby, right?

If Winchester won't sell a Western Hood , contact Hatters and ask to buy a Hood from them or if they'll order one and sell it to you . More than one way to skin a Cat .
