VS, last night and for the next 4 days, as this is the hat I took with me for the extended weekend.

Put this precious cargo on a plane this morning.

You both look very happy, I've been enjoying the photos of your time together. I say in all sincerity, very sweet!

Today is another ancient French hat on stroll to my office

It is a JB made of wool, or mixed felt, before World War II

It comes from that landmark located in Strasbourg and precisely in the Chapellerie Meer

I have a particular preference for this hat even if some signs of the time are on it

Thanks for your appreciation for Monday's Flechet
This hat is a real time traveler Daniele. It looks like it just came off the shelf. I agree about the crown lines, maybe not "Chubby", let's say it is "Portly". Love the smooth looking finish. Nice.

Tawny CD this morning.
Nice looking color, this Tawny. Tones of brown are perfect for this day of thanksgiving. Wishing you a wonderful one Bob.

Charcoal Worth and Worth "Jakob." Not the best picture, but close enough I guess.

Nice lines and color. What ribbon treatment are you considering?

Happy Thanksgiving to the members in the US.

Up at my folks for the festivities with a Vita-Felt.

Hope that all have a groovy day.

Happy Turkey to you and yours Matt. You selected a stupendous lid for your family to enjoy. Glad you shared it with us this morning. Amazing. Gotta find me a Vita Felt. On my short list of covets.

It depends on where you live. Off the top of my head I can think of two here in my hometown of Whittier (California), and there are a number of them in the Hollywood area. The trouble is that they're now called "vintage clothes" and sell for far more than they used to at the "thrift/used clothing" stores.

Your right about that Zombie. That's what I meant, they call it "vintage" rather than "used". I bought that tuxedo for $35. It was in perfect shape. Wore it all the time. Unfortunately, I outgrew it. And not height wise, either. I also miss what was called "junk shops". They rarely have anything like it. Some "antique stores" appear to be junk shops but they never are like the ones I use to frequent that had rows and rows of everything from sewing machines to waffle irons to sad irons to just plain junk. Used to find great things there for $5 and $10. Alas.

This whole outfit makes me wanna say <Brit accent on> 'I say!'

Seriously, great combo. :)
Thanks Wesslyn. You are killing it today too. I see we both thought it was a good day for a fair isle sweater vest. Yours is fantastic, love the colors and patterns. Have a great day.

Michael
Thanks gents!
