Spectacular hat, Greg. On my phone it shows up as very light mint green with a beige, yellowish ribbon. Awesome!

Thank you, sergej. It is one of those chameleon like hats with the last pic showing the most lifelike color. The ribbon is kind of a light gold but does things in the light.

Nutria is so nice.

Sergej, thanks. It is vintage. Battersby was one of the Stockport, England hatters. They lasted until 1966 when they merged with others into Associated British Hat Manufacturers. Soft felt hats by them are quite rare; it's mostly bowlers and homburgs.

Heading out under a kind of very light minty green Royal DeLuxe that started life as a homburg. In due time, it will be a homburg again. I swear it.

It's 40's or 50's to the best of my knowledge.
I've seen some later Fléchets online, I think Bollman bought the rights to the name at sone point amd put it on some poor quality hats.

It's certainly a great looking fedora, but I would have loved to see that one as a homburg.

Gannon natural again today. Paired with a steel blue Ralph Lauren Polo shirt and a silk-linen Saville Row jacket. I went ahead and hit the side dents with some steam this morning so they hold shape even when I put my fat head into the lid! Dang, I am enjoying this hat!
