I caught the last two episodes of that nam documentary. It's back on another channel so am recording it. Will binge it also at some stage. Not easy viewing.

I was just young enough that the war was over by my enlistment in the USAF. Just barely... I sat and watched Nixon resign and 10 minutes later I was being sworn into the military.

I competed in the '92 Albertville winter games. I was a grog chugger. Gave it all that I had but didn't medal. [emoji852]️ I traded my jacket for 24 bottles of assorted flavors of Mad Dog 20/20 in '96. In retrospect, that may have been a mistake. Maybe.

Up to Portland for class today in my Cavanagh Thirty stingy. Maybe this style will resonate with the kids. My fellow older students can relate to this style I'm sure. I figure this one is from the early 1960s, just like my peers.

Really late to the party tonight. I've been binge watching Ken Burns Viet Nam (it has been sitting on TIVO) so my attention to the lounge posts is divided. Wore the Echter Borsalino to campus today. We had a film crew from Oregon Public Broadcasting in the archives getting footage of some of our college history. I'll probably end up on the cutting room floor, but I did get some camera time.

If I missed anyone tonight, my humble apologies, Mr. Burns has me distracted. Everybody has put on a super show today.
