Tremendous Alan. With New Mexico a newly minted state in 1912, that store label is a lesson. When do you think this hat was made?An early Stetson - one of my favorite wearers.

Embroidered, really cool MoeHey folks!
I finally got around to fixing a loose sweatband on this early 40's Dobbs.
While I had if apart, I noticed something that made it even cooler. The liner tip crest, kind of hard to see under it's onionskin cover, looks a bit different ftom behind.
Have a great day!

Yay! The SLS looks good with the blue coat. Glad to see it is getting some European exposure. No pictures today (dark when I went out and dark when I returned). Yesterday however was the Stephen Stetson. This may sound funny, but besides it being a great hat it smells good too (some hats seem to have a good hat-smell). This one came from the hat-swap with Mike (Redfokker).

Great Tumwater, I don't think I've seen a triple bow before, nice.SilverBelly Tumwater.
Cheers! David
Definitely a western bowler, looks great and so does the outback. They're a small mom-and-pop shop in Fairplay, CO. They mainly specialize in western hats, so everything they make is going to be in western weight, which I like. They make some really good hats.
This outback I got from them is probably more their wheelhouse:
Here are some more pics of the Derby:

Sweet oneAn early Stetson - one of my favorite wearers.
Man, feel better soon. At least you've got a great new hat to wear while you suffer. Not even 40 hours in at the new job and I've been up all night being dizzy, nauseas and vomiting. Pinched nerve in the neck at C-1 I'm thinking. Both of my go-to chiropractors are out of the office today so I am heavily drugged for the moment.
I posed for pics and soon I am going to attempt to lie down and get some sleep... if the room doesn't start spinning again. Pain is one thing, but this shiite is debilitating. I thought back and my first episode of this was in about 1980 so 37 years of this crap is really getting old.
Anyway, here's a quick outdoor pic of the new Gannon natural beaver with frayed slate ribbon and a twisted bow keeper. Belgian ribbon finishes off the brim. Couple more pics in the Gannon thread.
Not the greatest pics and they do no justice to the great colors, especially those in the bow.
