From moon’s generosity I have my fourth Art Fawcett VS. A featherweight (ArtLite) in Saraha with copper ribbon. Arrived today so had to wear it to work tonight. And it’s a perfect fit to boot. This is the narrowest ribbon I’ve ever worn. Also the lightest hat. Thank you Anthony!

Interesting center dent. I like.

Rescued from its box where it has been languishing over the summer. Time to break out some of these winter weather hats, as it's in the 30s this AM. Inspired by @Bamaboots' choice yesterday - 150th Anniversary Stetsonian in light gray.

And a brim up for Bob, because it looks good on this hat.

Happy Hallowe'en!
Sent directly from my mind to yours.

Brim up DOES look good on the Stetsonians.....it is one of my absolutely hands down favorite modern production hats.......so sad they discontinued it:(.
Looks great on you.....I have the other colors but apparently they did not make many of the light gray version you have......I have been looking for one for over a year now.........
Best,
M

You live and learn on this forum. I have always been under the impression that the Homburg had an upward brim for it's entire circumference. That frontal down brim is a style that I could easily spend hard earned cash on.
This black one is a Huckel Chamois that I also took down to Mike for a tune up. Too big. It is definitely not a homburg, beautiful 2 1/4 brim with an interesting stitching on it. Have to post some detail when I get it back. Sorry for the confusing post.

Two great looking hats there Red. Hope the fits come out to your liking. Also wish there was a hatter around here.

Michael
Yes, I'm lucky. Mike and I just had a good time visiting about hats while he gave the Borsalino a stretch. The Huckel will need minor surgery. It is a HUGE 7 3/8" I wear a 7 1/4 LO. Mike is going to save the sweat and re-block it to my custom pattern. Should gain a little crown height.

Didn't you get the memo? Huge 7-3/8 hats are supposed to be sent north to McMinnville....

Look at that crown! It's gotta be, what, 4 stories at least? Did @moontheloon send a lift operator for the elevator on that fedora? ;)
