Thanks for the "Likes" and comments of late folks. I am humbled.

Another fine lid, Eric. Envious of your collection [emoji147][emoji145][emoji310]

Thanks sir. I do try to wear my hats frequently.

That is a superb hat, Eric. Now I'm all jealous.

Thanks sir. No need for jealously as your hats are dynamite.

That is a real beautiful hat, Eric. I'm very jealous of your fire and your breakfast.
A petite beef steak, parsnips and squash was a grand breakfast in front of the glory of a wood fire. It is my current advise for a morning repast.

Notorious SBG and his hat collection. I continue to be in awe of the hats you've found. Then there are the new ones you've commissioned....
Thanks sir. I appreciate it coming from a man such as yourself with a hat rack of quality fedoras.

That Bantam is one of my favorites Eric. Are we going to have snow/hat pictures from now on?
Thanks Red. Snow - we usually get some snow around Halloween. It does not stay long into November. The good thing is that it is soon replaced with new white stuff.

Best to all, Eric -

Took a real chance with fate this morning by wearing the DemonHanover to mass. I wasn't rained down upon by fire, nor was there a plague of locusts. I didn't even see a grasshopper. I even sprinkled a little holy water on it, and nothing.

Sent directly from my mind to yours.

Good to know. I hear hat exorcisms are a real pain.

Hey folks!
A sunny Sunday, for now anyway...
I'm so stoked about how well the application of coconut oil worked to restore life to this old Adam Royal Quality Panama's brim that I just had to wear it one more time before winter.

I applied a little more coconut oil to it after wearing it the other day, working it gently into the woven edge. It limbered up enough that I felt comfortable touching up the flange to get rid of the little hawksbill it had going on. Interestingly, just the brim was dry. The crown was always more flexible.
Have a great day!
