Cap day today - British tweed newsboy (or should I say more properly bakerboy ;) ), by Olney.

I assembled a earthy panoply of colours for this outfit, to adequately support my new (vintage) mustard toned cravat. Cravats are a first for me! What do you think?

Yep, the cravat look certainly works well with the cap - my own feeling is that they work best with the slightly casual look of a cap or else with the summer-y look of a nice Panama. Never been quite convinced by the cravat/fedora pairing.....

.....And if people out there want to post lots of cravat/fedora pics to prove I'm mistaken in my views, I'd find it most welcome! ;)
