Such a glorious warm sunny day in SoConn today! Bright sunshine! (as evidenced in the first picture...) and low humidity! Hardly a cloud in the sky and a gentle warm breeze from a southerly direction! Temps are expected to be in the low 70's!!! Hence I'm wearing a short sleeve pullover with my Stetson "Norwood." As you can plainly see!
Not bad for the middle of October!!! Astounding!!! As seen by the overuse of exclamation points! (Another rule frequently broken here!) ...and I may be breaking some other rules by wearing shorts, short sleeves and a straw hat in the middle of October but rules be, "gosh darned...!!!" GO YANKEES!!! View attachment 89957 View attachment 89958 View attachment 89959 View attachment 89960

That is a superb homburg, Daniele. Really unusual colour; love it.C'est l'automne, le temps du diplomatique
Antonin France Chapeau del Luxe
Today fog and some cold, the right time for a homburg made in France probably in the forties
Soft felt in a very delicate nuance of brown, without lining, only a patch into the crown
Buon giovedì
Many, many thanks for all the likes on the Borsalino "Corteccia"
Thanks, Mike. Not a vintage suit, no. It's from SuitSupply. The Tesi is a great choice for the day Karl. Classy look as usual.
Nothing classier than a Borso Hommie my friend. Love that rich color. l love that suit coat, is it vintage?
Day-um Harv, that is one showy Dobbs. That brim must be 2 3/4? Impressive.
This beauty does show in the purple tones on my monitor. It is a corker no matter what the color really is Matt. Love it.
Great looking Aussie Bob. I like the brim on this one.
You can wear this blue beauty every day and no one here would complain. Love this color. Sweater is workin' it as well.
That is one of the most beautiful Diplomatique dress hats ever!! Very impressive Daniele.
Love the color on this Mallory Jim.
Great way to honor the return. That's a beautiful homburg, Mike.In honor of Matt's triumphant return to the fold, I decided to brave the rain today in the Mallory Ten homburg he sent my way.

Superb looking homburg. Wonderful.Saintly Thursday:
Looks sharp, Alan. These duplex hats make me wonder though if there are duplex hats with a panama brim and felt crown on the other side of the spectrum?Moe's Dunlap panama from his recent straw scoop reminded me to get down my Dunlap duplex for another wear before the chill sets in to stay. The straw weave signature of the crown in both hats is very similar.
beautiful hat ... and great door bell sign
Nice one, Bob. Is that ribbon original? The weave seems to be made for a wider ribbon.NOS Stetson Original '47. Grade 8 Panama straw. View attachment 89826 View attachment 89827 View attachment 89828
