Yes, thank you. That was the one that caught my eye. What colour is your ribbon?Love what they list as their vintage "coffee" color hat body. Exact same vintage hat body used on this Northwest Hat. Extremely lightweight. Opinions on worth the extra money is a personal choice but I will tell you that if you want something reletively hard to find that you won't see others wearing then it certainly is. You can't put a price on that. View attachment 89109
Wlcm BB. My ribbon is Mike's "burgundy" vintage. That coffee tone that the Rooster has looks absolutely incredibly great in their pic but in some other pics I've seen, it appears very "orange..."Yes, thank you. That was the one that caught my eye. What colour is your ribbon?

Yeh, if I bite it may involve a trip to Milwaukie to view in person...I'll pick up some cheese while I am there. It is a great looking hat. I have one of Mike's hats made from the brown FEPSA felts he has. Love the colour and the feltWlcm BB. My ribbon is Mike's "burgundy" vintage. Looks like maybe a Como . They call the Alessandria the thin (TAR) ribbon Hat . Nice Hat though .
Alessandria is printed on all Borsalino hats ... it is the town that the factory was inI always called it an Alessandria because that's what's printed on the hat. To be honest, I'm not much of a Borsalino guy.
Beautiful finish on that velour Stefan. Nice look overall, I like that tie.
Yes, I think the Balmoral might be worth searching for. I like the brim.Akubra Balmoral.

Put this one into regular rotation, it's a looker.I had an itchy finger on that one, as you may well imagine, but the size kept me from clicking.
Scanning through quickly on my phone, I read it as Opplandske Lutefisk. [emoji849]
Spent Monday rotating and brushing hats now that the weather has turned a bit. So that led me to this 50s Resistol WAR I'm wearing today.
Just for the record (Bob) it's cloudy, drizzly and about 60 Fahrenheits in SW Ohio today.

Nice to see you Christophe. That finish is to die for. Nice Borsalino.Haven’t posted in a few days due to having my head buried in work (but suitably hatted). Today, 1963 Borsalino.
You really know how to relax my friend! Love the Aussie toe warmer. How stressful...

The brim on that Borsalino is really showy. Nice, substantial curl.Quick snap before heading into the office -- 50's Borsalino Alessandria:
Chill indeed! Looks great for just sitting around.
Now that I see one in captivity, the Railbird is a super hat. Is this the one that was on Ebay a while ago? My dad was a Yankees fan...they say it skips a generation.temperatures in the 50s ask for this mid 50s Railbird
I love this piece
and for good measure

Hah! Figures I'd get it wrong. I've never even visited the Borsalino Brotherhood because they just aren't my thing. I can't remember when I picked it up. I bought it because I liked the look not because it was a Borsalino. In the future I'll just refer to it as a Borsalino and try not to embarrass myself by displaying my ignorance.Alessandria is printed on all Borsalino hats ... it is the town that the factory was in
it is actually an extremely common occurrence ... especially with sellers ... they will call any Borsalino hat "Alessandria" because it is printed on all the liners
looks good on you
Gorgeous hat regardless! I like the long hair and the color. You wear it well.Hah! Figures I'd get it wrong. I've never even visited the Borsalino Brotherhood because they just aren't my thing.
