I love this Akubra Rodolfo. Great pug. Is this a worthy straw for my collection next summer?

Took my daughter to school this morning in case there were thugs there protesting the visit of Sec of Ed DeVoss. Prepared for a rough and tumble event, I wore the NW Hats outback conversion of my old Stratton Western. Too early for the trouble makers, so no contact sports this a.m.

A few rain drops just puddled up on the felt. This is the hat that soaked up an entire can of Scout felt hat rain repellant with no noticeable change in felt color.

They don't get up as early as regular folks Doug. At least they made it there before 4:20.

My normal method for posting is jacked up today since apparently Facebook/Instagram are having serious issues... So here's a throwback photo for Whippet Wednesday:

I like Akubra Straws, this is poly, so maybe you would like to get a Hemp one, they have the Reef and the Balmoral.

I really like this one but the pug is not the one that came with the hat

Today’s lid is my Stetson Pinnacle in Caribou color. I paired this hat with simple suit to complete my look. The hat is slightly larger than I usually wear but the Beaver felt sure is nice to the touch!

No idea what this banged up old hat is called but it is made from Harris Tweed in Scotland and it keeps my head warm and dry. I think it goes OK with my jacket.

Thanks guys for the likes and comments on my Whippet from yesterday. This one is a special hat and is one of three Whippets I have that previously belonged to other Lounge members - Josh in this case.

I’m enjoying the fact it has been a little cooler this week and have another felt hat with me today, VS in Dove felt.
