Sweet Levine, Greg!! Are you goldbricking there?!

Ha! Just too tired to move, Charlie after digging up sod by hand and hauling all that stone and sand to the back yard where we built this walkway. Soon to be followed by a fire pit at the end of the walk.

A Stupendous Stetson star, Mike. Envy from over here!!
Thanks Charlie. Envy would be an apt description for what I feel for virtually every hat in your fine collection.

Very nice,Michael.
Thanks Robert. This hat has been getting a disproportionate amount of wear lately. I may just be in a grey mood, but it could be that it feels very good to wear.

Thanks all,
Michael

Dog walk early morning in a vtg. Stetson Whippet. Chocolate brown - rich brown felt. The felt on this vtg.Whippet is grand. Soft and well pounced. Not all vtg. Whipet's felt quality are the same.

Under-brim pic is most accurate color protrayal.

I am with Greg, whooped. I ran 3 tanks of fuel thru the chainsaw this morning cutting and bucking a fallen tree. Wearing a vtg. Stetson Stratoliner. This grand sage felt hat has a brim that was trimmed simetime in its life (pre-short balding guy). Safety glasses, chaps, boots and ear plugs worn. The angle of the pic below makes it more out of esthetic balance than it is in real life.

This hat has a unique combination of wonderful quality thin soft felt that is rugged and can take a hard wear... love it

So nice! I have a couple of 50s ORs that are thin like that. Almost Borsalino thin and malleable to where I can recrease it on a whim. Really love the color of yours!

Well, I have been pondering what hat to wear in the morning all day. 6:30 am colonoscopy appointment. The wife says I shouldn't worry about it, but it takes my mind off the 1/2 gallon of prep consumed earlier. I think a derby might be a bit much, definitely not a homburg. It is down to my Lee back bow stingy or my beater SLS. I doubt I'll be posting proud pictures. So here are a couple from the archives.Back Bow View attachment 88182 View attachment 88183
Hope everything went well with the procedure. Don't worry, I won't make you the butt of any doctor jokes.:)

Ant, that's one great looking OR. Probably my favorite hats, though I have more clones than OR's. Love the color. How would you describe it.

You sure look grand today, Michael. I'm wearing a Royal Stetson today, but it's more of an Open Road style.

Quite the Whippet, Eric! And what a great work hat you've got in that trimmed down Strat. Perfect color for it even.

Working in Colonial Beach VA today.
