Thanks! You inspired the photo, clearly. The hat is certainly a step up from the Justin 4X... which I think is 4X cardboard... The 5X Stetson at least has fur felt in the blend.

And I like the minimalist mule kicks front and back. I think it adds a nice touch to the ubiquitous Cattleman crease.

@Redfokker Just hanging in there, Red. Been real busy lately, but we are heading to the Mt. Angel Oktoberfest Saturday. MrsFed is still very sad over the passing of her father. He wasn't well, but I think everyone expected another year or so with him...

Cool weather mornings here. Felt time! I finally got the smoke odor out of this one. Mostly. Stetson 5X western, 70's (?) vintage? The felt is nice. It's soft enough up top to change the crease, but I kind of like it the way it is. The brim, however, is as stiff as a board. I'd probably change it up if the brim was more obliging.

Felt parade today, yesssss! I will be wearing my Dobbs 20, Guild Edge this morning, love this hat, fits like a custom. Adding a brim up photo in memory of our resident curmudgeon @bobroberts I just can't pull of this look like he does.
